NJOA Meets with Gubernatorial Candidate Jack Ciattarelli
With New Jersey’s governor election set for this November, NJOA has reached out to both major party candidates and requested meetings.
As a result, NJOA recently met with republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli at his headquarters in Somerville. We had a productive and wide-ranging discussion regarding his environmental platform, outdoor related issues and our concerns.
We have reached out to democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill but have so far not been able to connect.
As past experience has shown, the NJ Governor’s position on hunting, fishing, trapping and other related outdoor issues can affect wildlife conservation, our recreational activities and the economy of our State.
NJOA Board of Trustees will meet shortly to discuss whether or not to endorse a candidate in this important race. So, stay tuned!
