Jim Furlong has been a life long fur trapper starting with muskrats at age 8. He is currently employed I the mortgage industry. His outdoor interests include: fur trapping, deer hunting with gun and bow, waterfowl hunting, turkey hunting and salt and fresh water fishing.

  • Fur Takers of America (Trapper of the Year 1984)
  • National Trappers Association
  • National Rifle Association
  • U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance
  • New Jersey Fish and Game Council 1982-1990 – (The ONLY trapper ever elected to the council)
  • Burlington County Chapter of the New Jersey State Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs. (Current President)
  • Southern Jersey Fur Takers (Founder and Past President)

Education
Jim has a Degree in personnel management (Human Resources) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
